Pre-painting Preparation
All areas are thoroughly checked and prepared as specified in the provided quotation prior to painting. Water marks, smoke stains, pen marks, and other unsightly blemishes that could “bleed through” the new paint are properly primed with the appropriate primer or sealer.
All rust effected areas are treated with “Rust converter”. Further sanding and smoothing may be necessary for maintenance or cosmetic considerations. An appropriate primer is applied to all bare wood to assure proper adhesion of the new paint and to prevent future peeling.
If any cracks and holes are found they are repaired with the appropriate filler, sanded and primed. Open joints and gaps between different surfaces to be caulked with acrylic gap fillers such as “gap filler” Sealant for a neater and more finished appearance. Glossy surfaces to be dulled by sanding prior undercoating. Those steps help to ensure proper adhesion of the fresh paint.
Pressure Washing
